5K

This family tradition, which is the 12th oldest turkey trot in the United States, will be the culminating event of the day starting at 10 a.m.

Teams
5K participants have the option of signing up for a team when they register.

Categories include:

1. Sister/Sister
2. Mother/Daughter
3. Mother/Son
4. Father/ Daughter
5. Father/Son
6. Brother/Sister
7. Brother/Brother
8. Husband/Wife

The team types listed above allow for a maximum of 2 team members.

Additionally, there is a Corporate Team division, which allows for an unlimited number of team members and scores the fastest 3.

There is also a Friends and Family Team division, which also allows for an unlimited number of team members, but only scores the fastest 2.

Start Corral - Pace Signs
To maximize the safety of the start and everyone's enjoyment, when you go to the start area on race morning, please position yourself near the pace sign that most accurately reflects your intended running/walking pace for the race.

Water Stops
There is a water station at the turn-around at around 1.5 miles.

Bag Check
The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York will have a bag check at their large box truck, which will be located at Broadway and 3rd. Bring your own bag to drop. Volunteers will take note of your bib #, attach it to your bag, and you can claim it after the event. Please bring non-glass food items to donate while you are at it!
